John Achkar- Stand-Up Comedy Show in Muscat

John Achkar returns to the stage… and this time, with complete honesty. In his boldest and most honest Arabic-language comedy show yet, John explores topics related to identity, family, faith, and the social and political contradictions that have shaped who he is today. The show blends humor with reality, sometimes getting closer to uncomfortable truths than expected, while raising questions about the values and beliefs we have inherited and about a reality that keeps us trapped within traditions and ideas we may not dare to challenge. If you think you know the person behind the microphone, you may need to think again. What you are about to see and hear goes beyond the boundaries of comedy. Note: This show addresses sensitive topics that may be uncomfortable or upsetting for some audience members. Viewer discretion is advised, and attendees are encouraged to come with an open mind and an open heart.
