Rimal Bidiyah Carnival 2026

Rimal Bidiyah Carnival will be held from 19 November to 19 December, representing an integrated national, tourism, and sporting event that strengthens the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a leading tourist destination. The carnival brings together motorsport activities, cultural events, and entertainment in a setting that reflects Omani identity and highlights the Sultanate’s unique natural attractions. Oman Baja is the main event of Rimal Bidiyah Carnival. It is held under the umbrella of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), ensuring compliance with the highest internationally recognized organizational and technical standards and strengthening the event’s position on the international motorsport calendar. Hosting this event represents a strategic step towards hosting the Baja World Cup in the Sultanate, in line with the national direction to enhance Oman’s international presence in sports tourism. Rimal Bidiyah Carnival is also planned to become an annual event on the calendar of activities in Bidiyah, creating a permanent attraction that promotes sustainable tourism, stimulates economic activity, supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and reinforces the Wilayat of Bidiyah’s position as a leading destination for adventure and desert tourism at both regional and international levels.
